We were up early, (well kind of) and headed back to Sopers Hole to get a second winch handle. After that we spent several hours sailing. At one point, we lost a fender/bumper, but we saw it floating behind the boat. Since they charge $115 for them, we turned around to retrieve it. First attempt.........nope. Second attempt.........nada. Finally, the executive decision was made to just put Ken in the dinghy for the rescue mission. With the fender/bumper safely secured in it proper spot, we decided that we had earned a beer. We toasted our semi-flawless somewhat professional rescue techniques, and the fender/bumper was thankful for our efforts.
Then we headed off to Monkey Point for some snorkeling.
